EXPLORE, LOOT, DIE!

Explore, Loot, Die is a tile based board game, where the players explore a dungeon and gather equipment. The dungeon randomly generates as the players explores it, allowing the player to place a tile when they enter a room. As soon as a player feels ready, they can attack other players. Whoever is the last player alive wins the game, but once a certain condition is met, tiles in the dungeon will be destroyed. And the game itself can win when it destroys a tile with any remaining players.

For this project I was the Product Owner, and when I pitched the product I did not have a complete idea how I wanted the game to be, play, and feel. Which allowed team members to pitch their ideas for how the final product should be in the end. The team was fully comprised of programmers and designers, no artists at all. This was a bit of a problem because our game needed to have art for every game piece. To overcome this issue we went to the internet and looked for art and purchased an game development art pack for most of the game assets. Managing the team was easy, one of the best teams I worked with, after we discussed what we are working on for the day, they do divided themselves into their own teams.
