Expeditions

Expeditions is a virtual reality experience where you can explore different environments and play different demos. Due to deadlines we were able to get one environment in for a MVP. That environment was a steampunk themed target shooter mini game. 
For this project I helped concept and designed the target mini game and how it works. It originally started out as a target mini game stall where the targets are in front of you and you don't look around too much. The next iteration ended up promoting the stall idea into an arena. Which allowed the targets to spawn from all angles. Originally there was going to be a pattern to the targets to help teach the player that they can look in any direction, and where the targets will spawn. That ended up getting cut in the end and only allow randomly spawned targets due to time constraints. Despite the time constraint and the many issues we've kept encountering I think the MVP we got was a fun experience.
